As part of the 'draw every day' brief, I have been drawing on my holiday in majorca from observation and from photographs. I have also been drawing from photographs since returning home. Here are a few of the pictures from my sketchbook.
Buildings
I left all of these in black and white because almost all of the buildings were white anyway. I particularly like the middle drawing as this was the one I spent the most time on and I feel this shows in the overall outcome. I think paying attention to textures of the bushes and walls meant that the image has some depth and feels a little bit more real.
Boats

I think these continuous line drawings in black felt tip are successful, especially the second one because keeping your pen on the page makes you think a lot more consciously about where the line needs to go next.
