Virgin Media Communication Box Prep

I really want to be as efficient as possible with carrying out this design so I thought the best way to translate my image onto the box was to blow it up to the correct size and use this as a guide. I split each panel up into rectangles which could be printed on A4 and pieced together.

Lots of cutting and sticking took place.

I was horrified that the side panel was somehow bigger than my other two and the shelf lines didn't match up! I really don't know what I did wrong here because I followed the same method for all three panels but evidently I must have has a mix up of measurements somewhere. I had been told in an email that the sizes of the boxes could vary slightly so I thought I would go ahead with this and try to make it work, even if that meant cutting up my stencils and spacing them out a bit to fill the space.

My blown up version of my design was stuck together in strips so they could be rolled up and carried with me. I cut out areas of the design that I could draw through with sharpie to map out my lines onto the box quickly and effectively. I have tried not to make it too fiddly or delicate because I will most likely be battling with the wind, I just hope I don't have to face the rain too!
