The Grand Budapest Hotel - Wes Anderson

I watched The Grand Budapest Hotel, directed by Wes Anderson, and I thought the compositions of his frames were really striking. Most of the frames had a clear line of symmetry which made the focal point easily identifiable. Throughout the film I was thinking about how considered each of the shots were and how a simple thing like keeping most of the scenes symmetrical could have such an unusual effect on the viewing of the whole film. I think consideration of colour was key in this film as well.
