I particularly like the use of texture and collage in Sophie Klevenow's work. I am presuming these images have been created by combining scanned line drawings and textures on Photoshop.
I think that the collage pieces being not perfectly aligned to the line work adds a hand crafted aesthetic to the image and the subtle colours are easy on the eye. I don't know what the brief was for these images or if they were personal work, but I think this colour palette would be good for tackling a sensitive topic.
Again, the textures and sensitive application of a range of greys have helped to produce a delicate image. I like the composition of this piece as the position of the pigeons look natural and it looks like a larger view has been cropped, hence why we can't see the head of one of the pigeons.
