I talked through my ideas with Matt in my tutorial and he agreed that repeating the 10x10x10 brief was a good way to show a comparison between the start and the end of my year. This is the idea I am going to take forward but I need to think of some more inventive and 'out of the box' ideas to make this interesting to look at and to show a development from my very literal responses from last summer.
Things to think about for second year...
- Concept is key for my development - have bigger ideas and educate myself more to form strong and considered opinions.
- Produce more emotive work, my ink work has been most successful this year so see how I can push this further.
- What makes my work innovative and my own?
- Don't be literal or one dimensional.
